He continued his studies at the same university and completed a master’s in electrical engineering with specialization in circuit design. On completion of studies, he was hired by Apple as a hardware engineer and worked on the Airport Wi-Fi base station. Soon, he realized that he was looking for more success and money and he finally quit Apple to pursue his own dreams.

Ubiquiti Networks
Soon after Pera quit Apple, he started exploring business opportunities in Wi-Fi technologies. In March 2005, he accumulated his savings and credit card cash and thus he got $30,000 to invest in a company he named Ubiquiti Networks. June 2005, Pera launched its first product series “Super Range” mini-PCI radio cards SR2 and SR5. The cards were an instant hit and they were purchased by several small and medium scale Wireless Internet service providers worldwide. The “Super Range” modules would operate at the 2.4 and 5.8 GHz bands and would use Atheros chipset.

Currently, the company sells four major products: airMAX (MIMO TDMA protocol Systems); airFiber, airVision (the next-generation H.264 IP Camera Management System) and UniFi (a revolutionary WiFi system)
Pera aspires to push his company to a greater height and get it the reputation of CISCO. He says ‘success is a matter of identifying opportunities and putting in clear and concise efforts in right direction’.

Seventeen-year-old British-Australian entrepreneur Nick D’Aloisio has accomplished an incredible feat of success and received international attention by developing a news aggregator app Summly which he sold to Yahoo for a reportedly $30 million US dollars. The app has been developed to provide quick summarized news stories from hundreds of reliable sources. Nick is called to be one of the youngest self-made millionaires ever and the youngest person to receive VC funding in technology at the age of just 15 that included approximately $300,000 from Li-Ka Shing’s technology investment company Horizon Ventures.
Nick D’Aloisio was born in Australia on first of November in 1995 to Lou Montilla and Diana D’Aloisio. His father is a vice president of Morgan Stanley and mother is a lawyer. He had interest in coding and started teaching himself at the age of 12. He got the idea of developing an app to summarize news stories into an easy format viewable and readable on smartphones while he was preparing for his history exam, “I was searching for information in Google and some other search engines while writing for my history labs, though I found all info but it was quite difficult to comprehend that summaries are perfect” he recalls. He is still a student at King’s College School in Wimbledon, London and works at Yahoo!’s London office.
Before Summly, in 2011, Nick D’Aloisio created an early mobile version of it which he named Trimit. It summarizes extensive and lengthy web content into minimum character so that users can easily share the content over emails, sms, Twitter and Facebook in .txt format. In 2012 November he launched Summly, which was an instant hit. It took over the ninth slot in the App Store within the first two hours of its release and received Apple’s “Best apps of 2012.” Summly has already been downloaded over 200,000 times.

INCREDIBLE...! 7 DUMB THINGS YOU DO EVERY DAY THAT ARE NOT YOUR FAULT

7 dumb things you do every day that are not your fault

Despite the best efforts of scientists, the human mind is still an enigma.
What we do know is that our brains are crammed with absurdly complex wiring, leading us to ask ourselves almost daily, "why did I do that?" and "how could I forget that?" and "what the heck is wrong with me?"
Below are seven brain quirks that are known to science and have the beginnings of an explanation — things that confuse us, worry us, and at times, even disturb us.
We'll add that these dumb, silly, or shocking behaviors are completely normal, so you probably shouldn't try to suppress them. (Research from Harvard shows that only makes things worse.)

Forgetting why you walked into a room

This is a pretty common phenomenon. You remember a task, or something you need to grab out of the kitchen, and take off to fulfill it. But as soon as you enter the room, the task has vanished from your brain, and you're standing above your sink like an idiot.
You can blame doorways for this one.
The thresholds between our rooms are considered an "event boundary," and we often categorize and store our memories based on where we had them.
One study published in The Quarterly Journal of Experimental Psychology found that it even extends to virtual reality. Participants often forgot unseen objects they were carrying in a backpack when they entered a new room, regardless of whether they were actually moving through rooms in the lab or in virtual rooms in a computer simulation.

Zoning out

Day dreaming and zoning out can be productivity killers, but research shows that it's vital to our creativity.
A 2012 study had participants complete an "Unusual Use Task" (UUT) assignment, where they had to think of unusual uses for an object. They were then split into four groups, completing either an undemanding task, a demanding one, resting, or taking no break, before completing the UUT again.
The group that completed the undemanding task (which allowed their minds to wander) improved their performance the second time much more than the other groups, showing that a simple task can give you just the right amount of distraction and mental space to think outside the box.

Words on the tip of your tongue

Having a word on the tip of your tongue (TOT) can drive you mad.
While scientists aren't sure what exactly is going on when you can't recall a word like "spelunking" (an elusive word often identified in TOT research), there are several theories that fall into two categories: the direct-access view and the inferential view.
The direct-access view suggests the TOT phenomenon occurs because of weak memory connections, blocking the one you're trying to think of with other, closely-related words — or providing you just enough of a memory to know there's something there without being able to actually recall it.
The inferential view offers a different explanation. Clues related to the word elicit a TOT response, even if we never knew the word to begin with. And this causes us to dig ourselves deeper into a memory hole; the more clues we retrieve related to the word, the more likely it is that we'll have a TOT experience.
The phenomenon is a reminder that the human brain isn't just a bucket of thoughts and memories, u it's a dense and complicated web of connections.

Hallucinating while falling asleep and waking up

Hallucinating while falling asleep and waking up
Rafi Letzter/Tech Insider
We've all experienced it — hallucinations as we fall asleep. Maybe your bedroom turns into an old high school classroom. Maybe you imagine someone sitting at the foot of your bed. Maybe Ronald Reagan is whispering "give me jelly beans" from your closet.
You don't need to lose any sleep over this phenomenon, known as hypnagogia. They're basically just half-awake dreams.
During the transitional period between wakefulness and sleep, our brains can exhibit some of the effects of REM (rapid eye movement) sleep — the deep stage of sleep where our brains become paradoxically active. A 2007 study that measured brain wave activity with an electroencephalogram (EEG) during wake-sleep transition found that the brain waves in this falling asleep phase were similar to activity during deep REM sleep.
And if you'd like to "take control" your dreams, this is also the phase where lucid dreaming is possible.

Distractions keeping you from getting back to work.

Office workers intimately understand this. Distractions derail our productivity, and that quick social media break takes us away from our work longer than a quick Facebook newsfeed check.
Research lead by Gloria Mark at the University of California, Irvine found that once we're distracted from a task, it can take as long as 25 minutes, on average, to return to that task, and what we describe as multi-tasking is really just "rapid toggling between tasks," according to the New York Times.
The study also found something that probably won't surprise procrastinators – when participants were interrupted during a task, they actually ended up completing the task faster with no drop in quality. Understandably though, it came at the cost of more effort and stress.

Saying a word until it loses its meaning

Saying a word until it loses its meaning
Sean Kane
Repeat a word or phrase for the long enough, and it will start to sound meaningless. This is known as semantic satiation.
This works in the same way that most stimuli do – keep it up for long enough, and our perception of the signal will weaken as we acclimate to it. Leon James, currently a psychologist at the University of Hawaii, has spent years studying the effect.
"It’s called reactive inhibition," he told Mental Floss. "When a brain cell fires, it takes more energy to fire the second time, and still more the third time, and finally the fourth time it won't even respond unless you wait a few seconds."
But some words hold their meanings for longer, based on the emotions we attach to them. While "dental plan" may fade into meaningless quickly, something more emotionally charged, like "explosion" is likely to keep its meaning for longer.

Intrusive thoughts

This is another common one, and is probably the most disturbing. Have you ever been struck with the desire to jump off a high ledge, or imaging pushing a friend in front of a bus?
These weird impulses are known as intrusive thoughts and although they can sometimes be horrifying, they're actually quite normal.
Research has shown that these dark visions may actually be a misinterpreted survival instinct. One study published in the Journal of Affective Disorders, whose title includes the poetic "an urge to jump affirms the urge to live," found that the "high place phenomenon" (HPP) does not indicate a desire a kill yourself.
But the disturbing aspect may actually help — scary thoughts of infanticide lead us to grip our children closer.
While these thoughts are common and do not represent an actual desire to carry out these imagined scenarios, a failure to dismiss them, or going to great lengths to avoid situations can lead to behaviors associated with obsessive compulsive disorder.
